VYV’s Albion Stage Positioning System is a producer of PosiStageNet data. Using a set of infrared cameras, it can transmit the 3D position of hundreds of VYV Copernic IR emitters at several hundred frames per second. Cameras are calibrated instantly without the need for a lengthy and failure-prone wanding process.
VYV’s PHOTON Intelligent Projection System is both a producer of PosiStageNet data (as it includes Albion as a module), and a consumer of that data. Photon can use PosiStageNet data to project onto moving and deforming 3D surfaces, computing projector convergence and blending in real-time. Incoming PosiStageNet data can also be used to drive FX trees for interactive effects.
MA Lighting’s GrandMA 2 Lighting Console is a consumer of PosiStageNet data. Its knowledge of the 3D lighting environment allows it to author shows driven by the positions produced by any PosiStageNet server.
Green Hippo’s Hippotizer V4 can both consume and produce PosiStageNet data. Received data can be used for real-time object and surface tracking in conjunction with Green Hippo SHAPE projection mapping software. Additionally any parameter on the system can be mapped to/from PosiStageNet data, allowing flexible integration with external systems.
